DAVID FLEMING STILL NUMERO UNO IN NE 

ALLIANCE ORDER OF MERIT CLASS 1 TABLE

Portlethen's David Fleming continues to lead the North-east Golfers' Alliance Order of Merit Class 1 table, sponsored by teaching pro Willie McKenzie and his WLM Golf company, writes Colin Farquharson.

Fleming (pictured) has 850 points to his credit, leading by 75pt from Dave Mackay (Hazlehead), the joint Alliance secretary.
Oldmeldrum's Phil Morrison is one of the week's big climbers. His
Murcar performance saw him rfise by six places, from ninth to third on 725pt.
Fourth-placed Martin Forster (Cruden Bay) moved up to fourth on 675, a rise of five places.
Banchory's Fergus Bisset dropped two places to fifth on 650.
The Orders of Merit for the 2014-2015 season end with the second round of the Alliance championship at Craibstone in March. The additional fixture at Newburgh, which rings down the curtain ont he Alliance season, is a non-counter for Order of Merit points.
