NE Alliance switch from Newmachar to Fraserburgh next Wednesday

Next Wednesday's North-east Golfers' Alliance fixture has been switched already from Newmachar Golf Club's Swailend course to Fraserburgh Golf Club.

"There are two inches of frozen snow on Swailend with little prospect of it disappearing by the middle of next week," said Alliance jt secretary David Wilson.

"Fraserburgh, a seaside links, has no snow on it and is perfectly playable."

The tee times reserved for Newmachar will be transferred.
