TO WIN MENA TOUR $9,000 PLAY-OFF

Scotland beat Joshua White in an all-England play-off climax to this
week's MENA Tour event, the Golf Citizen Masters at Al Ain Equestrian,
Shooting and Golf Club in the United Arab Emirates.
They had tied with 54-hole aggregates of 14-under-par 199. Scotland shot 69, 64 and 66 to White's course record 62, 67 and 70.
Zane won the sudden-death play-off to earn US $9,000. White's runner-up prize amounted to US $6,000.
Spain's Jose Bondia Gil finished third, a shot behind the play-off participants, and earned US $4,000.

Former Duddingston assistant pro Tom Buchanan, who is now based at the Al Ain
venue, finished fifth on 203 with rounds of 67, 65 and 71. He earned US $2,564
Paul Doherty tied for 10th place on 209 with rounds of 66, 71 and 72.
Sam Kiloh, the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre rookie, finished joint 38th on 219 with scores of 74, 72 and 73.
Clarke Lutton shot 77, 73 and 76 for 226 and a share of 46th place.
