MIDLAND GOLFERS' ALLIANCE REPORT, SCORES

 PIRIE AND THOMSON TIE AT KIRRIE

 Pitlochry professional Mark Pirie and Derrick Thomson, a four-handicap Downfield member, tied for the top individual scratch prize in today's Midland Golfers' Alliance competition - the Drew Herd team competition - at Kirriemuir Golf Club
They both shot one-under-par 67s.
Muckhart's Gibby Wilkie won the leading handicap award with a net 65 off 14 and also was a member of the winning team of Tom Cooper (19th hole) (8) and Frank Lundin (Muckhart) (8) with a net score of 56.
