DAVID LAW WINS NE ALLIANCE AT KEMNAY WITH A 69

Challenge Tour player David Law, pictured above, returned to the North-east Golfers' Alliance scene at Kemnay today - and won the £140 top scratch prize with a round of two-under-par 69. 
 Law birdied the long eighth, the long 11th, 13th and long 15th. He bogeyed the second and fifth.
"Kemnay is one of my favourite courses in the North-east and to play it on a day like it was today and in the condition it was made it a pleasure to play." said David later.
He won by a shot from Paul Lawrie Golf Centre stablemate, young rookie Sam Kiloh from Portlethen. Kiloh's form has been picking up lately and he earned the £110 second place prize on a card-countback with Royal Aberdeen amateur Nick Macandrew who also went round in 70.
Macandrew won an £80 prize voucher.
A reminder that players must key in their scores to the laptop provided after their rounds.
Kevin Duncan had a 71 and playing partner Murray Paterson a 78 but they left their scorecards beside the laptop, not realising that the keying in of the details of the scores to the laptop was essential to have their scores registered.
David Law and some of the other professionals who play in North-east Alliance competitions will miss next week's Stonehaven Alliance fixture because of the Paul Lawrie Invitational at Deeside on Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday.
