BELL BAXTER FPs EASE TO VICTORY OVER MADRAS FPs

Bell Baxter High School FPs won the annual former pupils' golf match again Madras FPs by a 7-5 margin at Scotscraig Golf Club, Fife this week

Bell Baxter got off to a flying start by winning all three greensomes matches. Despite a spirited fight back by Madras in the better-ball ties, Bell Baxter hung on in the singles to regain the trophy

Following the prizegiving, Bell Baxter team 

captain and Ladybank Golf Club head professional Sandy Smith said: “We are delighted to have regained the trophy from Madras. The matches were played in great spirit. Our thanks goes out to Scotscraig Golf Club for hosting the matches”

Bell Baxter FPs now lead 3 – 2 in the series.
