Renfrewshire Golf Union has announced the winners of the Junior Orders of Merit now that all the qualifying junior tournaments have been played.

Colin Edgar (pictured) from Cochrane Castle Golf Club has led the table since the beginning of the season when he collected double points at the Junior County Stroke Play at Caldwell with a two round aggregate of 145.
Fereneze’s Josh Beatt put up a good fight but Colin went on to win the open events at Renfrew (71), Port Glasgow (72), Caldwell (70), Elderslie (71) and a great round of 67 at the Paisley event.  The final points were Colin Edgar 930 and Josh Beatt 776.  A great season for Colin in Renfrewshire.
In the Under-15s category, Angus Frood of Ranfurly Castle dominated the table after a slow start with wins at Paisley (74), Gourock (77), Fereneze (74), Whinhill (76) and Greenock (74).
This was a very consistent performance from the youngster and he amassed 887.5pts, a long way ahead of his nearest rival, Ciaran O’Brien (Old Course Ranfurly) on 425pts.
There is one tournament left to play in the main event, the County Order of Merit.  Craig Watson from East Renfrewshire has led the table with a number of top five places and regular points throughout the season.
His challengers – Craig Pirie (Renfrew) and Gary Price (Paisley) - both picked up points when equal fourth at the George Taylor Memorial at Paisley but Pirie remains 140pts behind Craig with Gary even further behind in third place.  T
There are double points on offer at the final tournament which is the Herbie Pirie Trophy at Renfrew and there is still a mathematical possibility that Craig could be caught. Watson, a former British Amateur champion who admits to being in his late forties, is unlikely to let that happen.
