We are holding our men's  open on Saturday, July 26  - the Douglas Home men's handicap open - and we still have a few spaces left in the field, which is very unusual and especially so as the golf course is currently in the best condition in the five years I have been here.

Tee times start at 6am and go on until 4.30pm

This year, for the first time, the club are offering some tasty 

prizes to anyone who manages a hole in one during the Douglas 

Home Open.

A Hole in One at our 167 yard par 3 seventh hole could win you 

£5000!

A Hole in One at our 243 yard par 3 third hole could win you a  three-night, four-day holiday for two at the Marriot Praia del 

Rey Resort in Portugal including flights, car hire, hotel, dinner, 

bed and breakfast and golf

A Hole in One at our 177 yard par 3 14th hole could win you a 2 

night stay for 4 people at the Marriot Forest of Arden Resort 

including dinner, bed and breakfast and 2 rounds of golf

A Hole in One at our 98 yard par 3 10th hole could win you a set of Callaway irons and an Odyssey White Hot Putter
