CAMERON CORBETT VASE 72-HOLE SGU ORDER OF MERIT EVENT

NICK MACANDREW SETS PACE AT

HAGGS CASTLE WITH A 65 (-7)

It's a big week for Royal Aberdeen Golf Club next week as the host to the Aberdeen Asset Managment Scottish Open ... and it also be a big weekend for Royal Aberdeen member Nick Macandrew (pictured)
He is the first-round leader in this weekend's SGU Order of Merit 72-hole event, the Cameron Corbett Vase at Haggs Castle GC, Glasgow.
Macandrew, who won the Battle Trophy 72-holer at Crail in April by beating Jamie Savage at the second hole of a play-off, has shot a seven-under-par 65 to lead by two shots from Scott Grant (Downfield) and John Duff (Newmachar).
Two players are sharing fourth place on 68, James Steven (Bothwell Castle) and Fraser Moore (Glenbervie).
The first round CSS was 73.
