TWO BOYS AND TWO GIRLS WIN TRIPS TO WEST VIRGINIA IN OCTOBER

KHUSH PATEL (15) WINS FALDO SERIES 


ENGLAND SOUTH TITLE

Khush Patel of Bush Hill Park closed with a level-par round of 71 to win the Faldo Series England South Championship by one shot from Knebworth’s George Williams. 
Fifteen-year old Patel and Williams (Boys’ Under-21) both qualify for the 18th Faldo Series Grand Final which Sir Nick Faldo will host at The Greenbrier, West Virginia, USA in October.
“I am really excited about playing the Old White TPC course at The Greenbrier and competing against some of the best players from around the world,” said Patel. 
“I am also looking forward to spending time with Sir Nick and hopefully learning more about how professionals’ course manage and strategize.”
Patel will make his debut at The Greenbrier in West Virginia, USA in October along with first round leader Louis Lazarus, who closed with a one-over par 72 to win the Boys’ Under-18 division.
The final two qualifying spots went to three-time former finalist Miranda Brain of Gog Magog, who won the Girls’ division, and Lauren Horsford (Wimbledon Park), who finished runner-up.

Boys’ Under-18:

223 Thomas Jordan (Langley Park) 70-76-77.

223 Conor White (Bridgnorth) 77-76-70.
