BLAIRGOWRIE WITH A ROUND TO GO

Brooks is on five-under-par 139 with 18 holes to play and has a four shot lead over the "old maestro" and past champion, Ian Hutcheon (Monifieth).
Ian is on 143 with so steady rounds of 71-72.
The big surprise of the second day was the performance of overnight leader Ian Brotherston (Dumfries and Co).
