ONLY NINE PLAYERS TURN UP FOR A CHAMPIONSHIP

WICK'S GORDON STEVEN HEADS 
SMALL CAITHNESS COUNTY FIELD
Only nine players turned up for the Caithness county championship at Reay at the weekend when  the result was much the same as 12 months ago. 
Wick's Gordon Steven retained the title with two cards of 73 for 146 and clubmate Nicky Klimas improved from last year's third place to runner up with rounds of 73 and 75 for 148.
