SCOTS MAKE VERY GOOD START TO UNDER-16 BOYS QUADRANGULAR IN HOLLAND

Scotland made an excellent start to the three-day Boys' Under-16s Quadrangular International at BurgGolf, Purmerend in the Netherlands.
They beat Wales 9-3 after taking the foursomes 3 1/2-1/2 and the singles 5 1/2-2 1/2
In the other match on the opening day, Ireland beat the Netherlands 7-5. The Irish boys won the foursomes 3-1 and the singles were shared 4-4.

R Watson and S Locke bt E Lewis and M Harris 6 and 5.
S Scott and M Lawrie bt L Moore and B Truman 3 and 2.
G Burrett and C Black halved with T Jones and T Froom.
Singles (5 1/2-2 1/2)
McCulloch lost to Lewis 4 and 3.
Watson bt M Harris 3 and 2.
Lawrie bt Vargas 4 and 2.
Franssen bt Rickering 1 hole.
Locke halved with Moore
Scott bt Triuman 2 amd 1
Black bt Jones 5 and 4.
Burrett lost to Froom 1 hole.
