Portlethen dominated today's (Sunday) North-east District team golf championship over their home course.

Clark Brechin, Sean Lawrie and Graham Innes won the Journal Cup for the host club while Brechin and Lawrie, with the two best individual 36-hole aggregates, qualified for the semi-finals of the NE District match-play championship for

the Jaffrey Cup, again over the Portlethen course, on Monday and Tuesday evenings.

Portlethen's team total of 420 saw them finish 26 shots ahead of Hazlehead (Scott Robertson, Brian Nicolson and Greig Kennedy) with Murcar Links (Bryan Innes, Corin Stewart and Anthony Bews) third on 448.
