Europe lead Asia-Pacific by 12 1/2pt to 7 1/2 after two days of the Sir Michael Bonallack Trophy match at Bangalore, India.
Europe extended their Day 1 lead of 6-4 by sharing the Day 2 foursomes 2 1/2-2 1/2 and then taking the four-ball session 6-4 for a 6 1/2-3 1/2pt gain on the day.
James Ross (Royal Burgess), the only Scot in the Europe team, halved his morning foursomes match in partnership with Albert Eckhardt.
Ross and Eckhardt won their afternoon four-ball tie by one hole.
The third and final day is a singles-only session.
