LAST MENA TOUR EVENT UNTIL THE AUTUMN

DOHERTY EARNS A FEW DOLLARS 

MORE OUTSIDE TOP 20 IN MOROCCO

Paul Doherty, Scottish boys' match-play champion at Dunbar in 2003, earned $588 for a joint 21st place finish in the MENA Tour's Royal Rolf Dar Es Salam Open at Rabat, Morocco today.
The Cardiff-based Scot had rounds of 77, 75 and 74 for a total of 10-over-par 226.
Winner of the $9,000 first prize was France's Edouard Espana with scores of 71, 73 and 69 for 203.
Runner-up, three strokes behind, was England's Ross McGowan whose scores of 71, 71 and 74 for level par 216, earned him $6,000.
