MOROCCO FREE TRIP FOR PAUL LAWRIE LADIES TOUR ORDER OF MERIT WINNER IS BIG INCENTIVE OVER LAST FOUR EVENTS

A free trip to Morocco for the Ladies European Tour Qualifying School is up for grabs on the Paul Lawrie Scottish Ladies Open Tour over the last four events - and it could go right down to the final event of the inaugural season, the 36-hole Tour Championship at Marriott Dalmahoy on Thursday-Friday, October 10-11.
The professional winner of the PLGC SLOT Order of Merit will win the cost of return flights from Aberdeen to Morocco and hotel accommodation while over there.

The Paul Lawrie Golf Centre is putting up this fabulous prize for the first pro past the post in the Order of Merit in which there are four events to go.

With double Merit points being awarded at the Tour Championship, i.e. 2,000pt to the winner, 1,500pt to the second and 1,400 to the third, and so on, things could change dramatically at the top of the table, even on the very last day of the Order of Merit competition.

The amateur who finishes highest up the Order of Merit table will win a self-catering holiday at Gleneagles Village up to the Rules of Amateur Status maximum value of £500.
Carnoustie's Jess Meek, now a student at the University of Missouri, is the leading amateur in the table in ninth place with 3585pt
The next highest places amateurs in the Order of Merit are Gabrielle Macdonald (1830pt), Nichola Ferguson (1460), Jess Wilcox (1430) and Scottish champion Alyson McKechin (1355).
There is certainly an incentive for them to play in the last four events on the Paul Lawrie 2013 Tour Schedule.

Oct 1 - Drumpellier (18 holes)
Oct 9 - Craigielaw (18 holes)
Oct 10-11 - Marriott Dalmahoy (Tour Championship, 36 holes).
Late entries are being accepted by Tour Director Nicola Melville (07816 353434) for the Haggs Castle and Drumpellier events.
Closing date for entries to the final two events are a week before the competitions.

The entry fee for the Tour Championship is £100 for professionals and £50 for amateurs who will have their own prize list but are eligible to win the new Tour Championship Trophy for the best two-round aggregate.
The more entries received for Craigielaw and the Tour Championship, the bigger the prize funds at each will be as all entry frees go straight into the prize funds. The Tour Championship prize list will be about £4,500 of which the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre is contributing £2,000.
