PAUL O'HARA EARNS £1,116 FOR SHARE OF FIFTH PLACE IN PGA ASSISTANTS

Paul O'Hara (Clydeway Golf) finished a creditable joint fifth and earned £1,116 with rounds of 71, 69 and 69 for 10-under-par total of 209 in the Powerade PGA Assistants Championship at Coventry Golf Club today.
O'Hara finished six shots behind the winner of the title and £5,000 prize Matthew Cort (Rothley Park) with scores of 68, 68 and 67 for 203.
Other Scots in and around the top 10 were Scott McGrenaghan from Cochrane Castle and Anglo Scot Peter Latimer (Felixstowe Ferry). McGrenaghan shot 72, 69 and 70 for joint ninth place on 211 to earn a £750 cheque.
Latimer totalled 212 with rounds of 74, 69 and 69, which gave him a £600 pay-out.
