LAW JUST OUTSIDE POLISH OPEN TOP TEN


David Law shot a one-under-par 71 to be lying joint 11th in a field of 80 at the end of the first round of the German PGA Tour's Polish Open at Sand Valley Golf and Country Club.
Aberdonian Law, playing out of Paul Lawrie Golf Centre, birdied the shot third, the long fifth and the long 12th but dropped shots at the second and short 10th.
Stablemate Philip McLean from Peterhead was in joint 45th place with a 75. McLean was four over par after 10 holes but covered his last eight holes in one-under-par with a birdie at the long 12th and the rest pars.
Germany's Anton Kirsten leads by two with a five-under-par 67
