GARRICK PORTEOUS FOUR UP ON TONI HAKULA AFTER 24 HOLES IN BRITISH AMATEUR FINAL

Scottish open amateur stroke-play champion Garrick Porteous (Bamburgh Castle GC, NE of England) was well on his way to winnng the British Amateur championship at Royal Cinque Ports GC, Kent today.
In the 36-hole final, Porteous, (pictured) was four holes up on Finland's Toni Hakula after 24 holes.
Hakula beat the 2013 Scottish amateur match-play champion Grant Forrest (Craigielaw) in the third round.
