SPECIAL OFFER FOR NEW SEASON AT LINKS WITH HISTORY
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The
Links with History Golf Pass is celebrating the 2013 season getting
underway in earnest with a special offer for golfers booking to play at
the four historic golf clubs in the Kingdom of Fife.
Golfers
who book at least two rounds of golf at different courses at
Scotscraig, Lundin, Ladybank and Crail through the Links with History
Golf Pass during May and June will receive a courtesy coffee and bacon
roll before their rounds at each venue.
A
new website for the Links with History Golf Pass has also been launched
to make it easier for golfers to make bookings. The easy-to-navigate
digital portal at www.linkswithhistory.com features
stunning imagery from the historic links and inland courses and gives
information about the courses, the clubhouse facilities and how to book.
The
Links with History Golf Pass is one of the best value for money golf
products available in Scotland this summer with tee times at the five
championship courses available from just £50 per person, per round.
Barrie
Liddle, the Secretary at Scotscraig Golf Club, said, “The Links with
History Golf Pass brings together four of the country’s most historic
golf clubs and offers fantastic golf at affordable prices. The pass is a
one-stop-shop for golfers, which takes the hassle out of booking a golf
weekend or short break. We go out of our way to welcome visitors to our
clubs and offering them a coffee and a bacon roll before their tee off
is our way of giving them something a little extra to set them up for
their round.”
Alistair
MacDonald, the Secretary at Lundin Golf Club, added, “We are very much
looking forward to a busy summer season and the new website will make it
even easier for golfers to book the golf pass. It is designed to be
visually appealing and easy to navigate and we have worked hard to make
sure it includes all the key information required for booking golf with
Links with History.”
The
Links with History golf clubs are all located close to the Home of Golf
in St Andrews and enjoy illustrious histories with three of them having
been qualifying venues for the Open Championship. Crail Golfing Society
is the seventh oldest golf club in the world, dating back to 1786, and
Scotscraig Golf Club is the 13th oldest club in the world.
The
courses offer a mix of challenging links golf at the Balcomie and
Craighead courses at Crail and Lundin, a testing combination of links
and heathland golf at Scotscraig and a beautiful but demanding
tree-lined heathland layout at Ladybank.
The
Links with History Golf Pass enables golfers to book two, three or four
rounds of golf. The booking can be made either by phone, email or an
online booking form on the Links with History website. Payment is made
by cheque or by credit card and no money is requested until the booking
has been confirmed.
To book your tee times please contact us on +44 (0)1592 649660, email bookings@linkswithhistory.com or complete the booking form at www.linkswithhistory.com stating your preferred choice of courses and dates/times.
