WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS AT SWANSTON
FROM BOBBY RUSHFORD
I was hoping Scottish Golf View will publish the following in an attempt to attract
interest into a new series of opens which we are running throughout the
year.
We are calling this ‘Swanston Wonderful Wednesdays.’ There are 8
‘Wonderful Wednesdays’ running throughout the year culminating in a
‘Super Wednesday’ at the end of September. These are stableford open
competitions for male golfer over the age of 18 who hold a CONGU
handicap.
The cost to enter is £15 (£10 green fee and £5 towards
prizes). Minimum prizes paid out will be £25 for best scratch score, 1st Nett £50, 2nd Nett £30 and 3rd
Nett £20. The more players the greater prize pool. We will also run
divisional sweeps and two’s competitions on the day.
In order to qualify
for the end of year ‘Super Wednesday’ a minimum of 4 ‘Wonderful
Wednesdays’ must be played in. The cost to enter the ‘Super Wednesday’
will be £20 but double prize money will be paid out.

Swanston with full payment. Times will be sent out via email when entry
is received with the full draw being posted on our website and Facebook
page the Monday directly before the competition.
We
will publish the results on both our website and Facebook page and
would be very greatful if you could publish the results on your website
if I were to send them to you.
Thank
you very much and best of luck with the Paul Lawrie Slot events, great
to see work being done to support the young female professionals.
Kind Regards,
