LANARKSHIRE NEWS FROM WILLIE SHARPE

Lanarkshire Golf News
Lanarkshire boys had mixed success at the Scottish Boys championship at Monifieth last week.  None of them reached the last 32 but there were good wins in earlier rounds for Kieran Stark of Crow Wood and Kieran Mc Vicar of East Kilbride. They both lost narrowly in round 3 at extra holes. Best comeback of the week came from David Fair of Hamilton in round one. He was five down after nine holes but fought back to win at the 19th hole. On a positive note most of the boys are eligible to play again next year at West Kilbride.
