BRADLEY NEIL IS NEW SCOTTISH U18 BOYS' MATCH-PLAY CHAMPION

Bradley Neil from Blairgowrie is the new Scottish Under-18 boys' match-play champion.
The No 2 seed beat the No 1 seed, Ewan Scott (St Andrews), by 4 and 2 in the 36-hole final at Monifieth Links today.
They were all square at the end of the first round.
Scott also lost in last year's final to Craig Howie but went on to went the Scottish youths championship in 2013.

The first four holes of the afternoon session were halved before Neil took a two-hole lead after a birdie at the par 3 fifth and an eagle at the par 4 sixth.
A birdie from Scott at the eighth hole reduced his deficit and must have given him hope that he could pull back a two-hole deficit as he had in the morning.
However, birdies from Neil at the tenth and thirteenth put the second seed three holes up with five to play.  His fourth birdie of the afternoon, gave Neil victory at the sixteenth.
