PHILIP McLEAN CANCELS OUT FIVE BIRDIES WITH SEVEN BOGEYS IN MOROCCO

Peterhead's Philip McLean (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) is joint 35th after the opening round of this week's German PGA Developmental Tour event in Morocco - the Open Lixus, at Port Lixus Golf Resort, Larache.
McLean shot a 74 which included five birdies and seven bogeys.
He is eight shots behind the leader by three, Floris De Haas, one of three Dutchmen in the leading four.
