DUNCAN STEWART LEADING SCOT IN MOROCCO WIND AND RAIN
Duncan Stewart (Grantown on Spey) came in late on a wet and windy day with a one-over-par 73 to be the leading Scot at the end of the first round of the MENA Tour's Royal D'Anfa Open at Royal Golf D'Anfa, Casablanca in Morocco today (Tuesday).
That put the Grantown-on-Spey man in joint eighth place overnight, three shots behind joint leaders Dale Marmion (England) and Stephen Dodd (Wales).
Edinburgh tour pro Greg Nicolson shot a two-over-par 74 to be lying in joint 13th place.
Scots exile Clarke Lutton, originally from Aberdeen, had a 77 for a share of 22nd place.
