SCOTS LAW AND JAMES IN EGYPT TOP TEN AFTER ONE ROUND

Two Scots - David Law and David James - are in the top 10 at the end of the first day of the German PGA Developmental Tour's Red Sea Egyptian Classic at Sokhna Golf Club, Egypt.Aberdonian Law shot a two-under-par 70 to be joint sixth behind co-leaders Tiago Cruz (Portugal) and Max Kramer (Germany) on six-under 66. 
Law, playing out of the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre, birdied the seventh and short eighth in an outward half of two-under 33 but he was unable to improve on that after the turn.
 He cancelled out a birdie 2 at the short 16th with a bogey 6 at the long 17th.
 Doonhamer James (from Dumfries) shot a 71 for joint ninth place, wiping out a double bogey 6 at the seventh with birdies at the short fourth, long 13th and long 17th.
Fraserburgh's Jordan Findlay (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) birdied the long third, short fourth and short 16th but was dragged down to a two-over-par 74 with a double bogey 6 at the fifth and other shots shed at the second, ninth and 18th.
 Peterhead's Philip McLean continues to struggle, way below his potential. He had a birdie-less 79 with a double bogey 6 at the second and an inward half of 42.
