PERTH AND KINROSS WIN MIDLAND TEAM TITLE

Perth and Kinross won the Midland team golf championship at Downfield Golf Club, Dundee today. P and K totalled 511 under the best seven from eight individual scores to count for each team.
Angus were runners-up, finishing two shots behind on 513.
There was a big gap to third-placed Fife on 536.

The lowest individual score was a fine round of eight-under-par 65 by P and K's Glenn Campbell (Blairgowrie), the former Scotitish amateur champion.
