HUTCHEON AND McKAY MONIFIETH LINKS CHAMPIONS
In Sunday's Monifieth Links Championship finals, the men's final was won by Chris
Hutcheon (Monifieth) by 4 and 2 over Mark Thomson(Grange)
The boys' final was won by Calum McKay (Grange/Monifieth) with a 7 and 5 win over Matthew Grossett (Monifieth).
Chris is Ian Hutcheon's nephew (twin Fred's son). Calum is the son of Alex McKay, Angus junior golf convener.
it is a first Monifieth Links title for both.
Chris lost the final of the Monifieth Golf Club men's championship last year.
This was Calum's last shot at the boys' title after being losing finalist for the last two years.
He has been the Grange junior champion for the past three years.
