CLARK ONLY SCOT IN EUROPE TOP 20

Kilmacolm's Matthew Clark is the only Scot in the top as the European men's individual amateur stroke-play golf championship moves into its fourth and final round on Saturday at Carton House GC. Maynooth in Ireland.
Clark has had rounds of 72, 68 and 71 for a tally of five-under-par 211 - eight shots behind the leader, Sweden's Pontus Widegren (71-67-65).
Graeme Robertson (Glenbervie) slid just outside the top 20 with rounds of 75, 65 and 72 for 212.
Jack McDonald of Kilmarnock Barassie must have retired at the end of the second round. His name does not appear in the draw for the third round and there is no trace of his name or score among the third-round returns.
