ROSS KELLETT RESPONDS TO PRESSURE - SHOOTS 63 IN MADRID

Ross Kellett, less than a week after his first pro win, rose to the challenge of beating the second-round cut in this week's Alps Tour event in Madrid with a brilliant bogey-free round of eight-under-par 63, 10 shots better than his first-day score
From a borderline position overnight, the Motherwell man finished the day in third place on six-under-136 - three shots behind Englisman leader Andrew Cooley (68-65).
Kellett had five birdies in a row from the fourth in an outward half of 31 and he picked up the birdie trail again on the inward half with sub-par figures at the 10th, 14th and 18th for 32 home.
Kris Nicol (Fraserburgh), the only other Scot in the field missed the cut by two shots with rounds of 76-69 for 145.
