In another last-eight surprise result top seed John Fraser (Royal Burgess) was well beaten, 5 and 4, by Derek Murphy (Kinross). In Friday morning's semi-finals, it will be Gray versus Ian Taylor (Royal Burgess) and Murphy versus David Gardner (Broomieknowe).
