The match was in doubt earlier in the day due to torrential rain and lightining. The teams did, however, tee off in foggy and wet conditions. The standard was high with many birdies from both sides. Match 4 halved the 4th with eagles.

The match was extremely close throughout. RAGC's 3rd pair made an excellent birdie on the 17th and par up the last to earn the team a half point and keep hopes of a Royal Aberdeen win alive.

These hopes were thouroughly extinguished by Bon Accord's 5th pair who came back from two down with six to play to win 2 and 1 and seal the win for their team.
