ARNOTT WIN NUMBER FIVE AT DOUGLAS PARK

Former PGA Cup player Robert Arnott (Bishopbriggs Golf Range) scored his fifth one-day win of the Tartan Tour this season with a seven-birdie round of five-under-par 64 to collect first prize in the Douglas Park pro-am
Arnott birdied the second, third, sixth, 10th, 13th, 16th and 18th, dropping shots only at the fourth and 12th.
He won by a single shot from Chris Kelly's bogey-free 65.
Arnott also led the Steelcase Solutions trio of Nick Lyons (handicap 15), Fraser Low (18) and Stuart Nicol (5) to victory with a two-ball net aggregate of 16 under par 122.
