Soutar, with a pair of 73s, and Crichton (70-76), were sharing eighth place on two-over-par 146 - six shots behind the two-stroke leader from Doncaster, Luke Jackson (Misterton) with rounds of 67-73. Other Scots to make the cut were Conor O'Neil (Pollok) on 147 (71-76), Sam Binning (Ranfurly Castle) on 148 (74-74), three  on 149: Greg Smail (Craigielaw) (74-75) Adam Dunton (McDonald Ellon) (73-76) and Gordon Stevenson (Whitecraigs) (74-75), Scott Gibson (Southerness) (74-76) on 150 and Colin Thomson (East Renfrewshire) on the limit mark of 151 with scores of 75-76.
