MARTIN McNAE WINS SHAMASH TROPHY AT THIRD EXTRA HOLE
Martin McNae (Dumfries and Galloway) won the 36-hole Shamash Trophy open tournament at Dumfries and County GC at the weekend - and he had to play 39 holes to achieve his success!
McNae and Danny McConnachie (Dumfries and County) tied at the head of the two-round leaderboard on 135, both scoring 66 and 69.
McNae won the play-off at the third extra hole.
David Brodie (Newton Stewart) finished third on 137 with rounds of 68 and 69.
