PRINCE CHARLES PLANTS TREE AT BALLATER'S FIRST HOLE

NEWS RELEASE ISSUED BY BALLATER GOLF CLUB

Ballater Golf Club invited HRH Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay  to plant a tree in celebration of the Diamond Jubilee of HM Queen Elizabeth II.  The tree was planted on the first hole, aptly named “Birkhall,” the holiday home of High Royal Highness and only a short car drive from the club.  The club were very honoured that His Royal Highness found time in his busy schedule to

visit the club.
