CRAIBSTONE HOST NORTH-EAST ALLIANCE ON WED, FEBRUARY 15

Craibstone golf course, Bucksburn, Aberdeen will be open next Wednesday (February 15) but, due to work being carried out by SSE Power, there will be no electricity in the clubhouse from 9am to 3.30pm.
Despite that the North-east Golfers' Alliance competition, originally scheduled for Stonehaven on February 15, will be switched to Craibstone. Inchmarlo, the other alternative, is not available.
Davie Wilson, the North-east Alliance joint secretary, says that Craibstone General Manager Billy Sim has assured him that they will be able to offer a catering service, thanks to an emergency gas supply.
And the alliance's computer, on which competitors, log in their scores after their rounds will be functioning, with the aid of a power pack.
So, spread the word, next Wednesday's North-east Alliance is ON at CRAIBSTONE.
