Paul O'Hara finishes joint fifth in EPD Tour event in Germany

Paul O'Hara earned 1,040 Euros for a joint fifth place finish in the EPD (German PGA) Tour's Coburg Brose Open over 54 holes at Coburg Golf Club in Germany.
O'Hara had rounds of 72, 66 and 70 for an eight-under-par total of 208. He burst into contention with a bogey-free second round and, with a birdie at the third in his final round, was well in the mix.
The Motherwell man covered 27 holes in seven under par without a bogey until his charge lost its momentum with back to back bogeys at the 10th and 11th.
To O'Hara's credit, he picked himself up, dusted himself down and finished strongly with birdie 2s at the short 13th and 15th and a closing birdie 3 at the 18th for a two-under-finishing round.
He finished four shots behind the winner of the 5,000 Euros prize, German Sebastian Buhl who had rounds of 67,70 and 67 for 12-under-par 204.
Three other Germans tied for second place on 207.
