FOTHERINGHAM RETURNS TO FORRES TO WIN BRODIE TROPHY



Former Scotland international Bryan Fotheringham, now playing out of Inverness, returned to his old stamping ground on Saturday to win the prestigious Brodie Trophy over 36 holes at Forres Golf Club.
Fotheringham had rounds of 66 and 64 for 130 to win by four shots from Elgin's Jordan Milne (65-69) with another Elgin player, Neil McWilliam, third on 138 (69-69).The handicap competition was won by Jim Simpson with net scores of 64 and 71.
