JOEL HOPWOOD WINS CRAIBSTONE ALLIANCE OPEN WITH A 74
The field for the 2nd Craibstone Alliance open was reduced in numbers due to a variety of factors such as the Aberdeen Links championship match-play stages and the Paul Lawrie Invitational first round at Deeside.
Skibo Castle assistant pro Joel Hopwood made the long journey down from the far North to post a 74.
Best net score was a 71 off 15 by Chris Adams. Runner-up was Mark Hay with 77 off 11.
Craibstone GC Golf Operations Manager Billy Sim is hoping that the Wednesday numbers for the Alliance Opens will take off once more people know about them - entry fee £15 (£14 for Craibstone members).
The normal visitor's green fee is £35.
