HALE IRWIN NOW JOINT LEADER IS US SENIOR PGA

Hale Irwin has joined Japan's Kiyoshi Murota in the lead with one round to go in the 72-hole US Senior PGA championship. Irwin has a third-round 70, Murota a 74 so they are locked together on 207, only one shot ahead of Tom Watson (68 for 208).
