ALASTAIR WEBSTER WINS MIDLAND ALLIANCE FINAL MEETING

The Midland Golfers’ Alliance held their final meeting of the 2010/11 season with a rearranged meeting at Charleton Golf Course in Fife.
Finishing of a fine winter season, Edzell Golf Club professional Alastair Webster shot a four under par 67 to win by two shots in the scratch.
Sandy Mitchell (The Duke's), playing off 12, returned a net 69 score to win the handicap prize.
Shot of the day was Edzell five-handicapper Ron Brownhill's hole in one at the 113yd fifth hole.
