ALAN LOCKHART WINS MIDLAND ALLIANCE AT KIRKCALDY

This week the Midland Golfers’ Alliance held the J B Motor Co. team competition at Kirkcaldy Golf Club.
Continuing his great run of form, Ladybank assistant pro Alan Lockhart led the way in the scratch section with a level par score of 70.
Downfield nine-handicapper Ian Mitchell won the handicap top prize by three shots with a net 67.
Ian also helped his Downfield team of Ian McMurray (10) and Arthur Farquharson (11) to win the J B Motors team competition with a score of 60.
