After the Portuguese Golf Federation website got itself sorted out we discovered that Fraser McKenna had repeated his opening round of 71 and his 142 two-round total had him in joint sixth place behind England's Eddie Pepperell (68-68 for seven-under-par 137).
The cut in the Portuguese international men's amateur championship at the Montado Golf Resort near Lisbon does not come until after Saturday's third round which means that the other two Scots in the field, Allyn Dick and Peter Latimer, still have a chance to make the last day - if they produce good third-round scores.
They are bracketed together in 74th position on 156. Allyn has had rounds of 80 and 76, Peter 82 and a 74.
English players are occupying the first three places.
Overnight leader Eddie Pepperell has opened up a two-shot lead with scores of 68 and 69 for 137. Craig Hinton comes next with 69 and 70 for 139 while Andrew Cooley is on 140 with rounds of 72 and 68.
