David Patrick retains Scottish

YPs' title by seven shots

David Patrick (Elie) retained the Scottish Young Professionals championship at West Lothian today.
The former Walker Cup player is the fourth player in the past 50 years to win the title two years in a row.
His scores of 71, 70, 69 and 69 gave him a five under par total of 279 and a seven-stroke victory.  David was the only player to get under the par with his four-round total.
Top prize was a cheque for £1000 and a Skycaddie SGX.
Chris Robinson (Dumfries and Co) finished second after a closing round of 67 (the best of the tournament). The weather relented on the final day although there was still a stiff breeze to test the players.
