Elliot Saltman seven shots off the
-
pace on Hi5 Pro Tour last day

FROM THE SPANISH Hi5 PRO TOUR WEBSITE
Local Spaniard Ignacio Sanchez Palencia is the co leader on five-under-par 139 alongside Swedens Bjorn Pettersson after day two of the Hi5 Pro Tour's Altorreal Open.
Ignacio played a two-under-par 70 to close the gap on Round 1 leader, Bjorn Pettersson in almost perfect scoring conditions.
Close on their heels going into the final round in joint third position are England's Alex Belt , Sweden's Fredrick Hammarberg , Iceland's Stefan Mar Stefansson and Spain's Dani Alonso.
Just one shot further back are current order of merit leader Matt Evans (66 low round of the day), last week's Senior winner Gary Wolstenholme (pictured by Cal Carson Golf Agency), this week playing off the back tees against the field, and Spain's Carlos Aguilar Quesada.
An exciting final round is expected with no fewer than 13 players lying within four shots of the leaders in the chase for the Hi5 Pro Tour's Altorreal title.
The odds are against a Saltman winning for the third event in a row. Last week's winner Elliot Saltman, who followed in the footsteps of his younger brother, Lloyd, is seven strokes off the pace with 18 holes to go. Stranger things have happened!
Second lowest round of the day was produced by the much improving English amateur Richard Carter.
