Draw and regulations for first event at Whitekirk next week


Xltec Solutions Pro Golf Tour
Whitekirk Golf Club – Thu 25th & Fri 26th March 2010

Event – The tournament will be 36 holes stroke-play played over two consecutive days
Registration – Competitors should register with Tournament Organisers in the Clubhouse a minimum of 30 minutes before their scheduled tee time. All Joining Fees and Whitekirk Tournament Entry Fees must be paid prior to teeing off.
Prize-money (men)– 30% of the total field will receive prize cheques approx 7 days after the event
Play Off – In the event of a tie for the winning Professional, the money will be split and there shall be no play-offs
Draw – The men's draw is attached with this document. Please note that the draw for the second day will be based on highest scores out first and leaders out last
Prize-giving – There will be no prize-giving as such, however we do request the winning professional be available for some photographs at the end of play
Practice Rounds – All competitors are entitled to complimentary practice rounds. To book, please call Professional Paul Wardell on 01620 870300
Preferred Lies – Preferred lies will be in operation on "Closely Mown Areas" only
Referee – Qualified Rules Official, Simon Andrews will be on course both days
Range – Whitekirk are providing range balls. However due to the length of the range, under no circumstances will drivers be used due to Health & Safety
Yardage Books – Are available at £2.00 per book
Trolleys – Whitekirk at the moment only have 12 trolleys. Please call Paul to book one or advisable to bring your own. Whitekirk have kindly offered their trolleys Free of Charge
Catering – The restaurant will be open from 7am
Accommodation – The fabulous Macdonald Marine Hotel in North Berwick have offered preferential rates for competitors for the nights of the 24th and 25th March. Rates are £80 per twin room per night B&B (£40pp ). To book, please call 01620 897311 and quote "Xltec Solutions Pro Golf Tour"
Nearest the Pin Prize – Thanks also to The Marine Hotel, the Professional who is nearest the pin at the 17th on day two will receive a one night stay for two people on a B&B basis
Travel – The postcode for Whitekirk for Sat-Nav is EH39 5PR. Please note that there are 40mph restrictions on certain stretches of both the M8 and M9. Allow for a little extra time before setting off

+LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED FROM MALE AND FEMALE PROFESSIONALS. The 9.20am tee time has been left free with that in mind. Other late entries will tee off from 10.50am onwards.
