Craig Ross wins first Lanarkshire champion of

champions' tournament by three from Ed Wood

Craig Ross, 16-year-old junior member of Kirkhill Golf Club, became the first winner of the Lanarkshire champion of champions' tournament, played at Carluke Golf Club today, in fine conditions.
Craig scored 67 and 74 for a 141 total and a three-shot victory over Lanarkshire men's match- play champion Alan MacDonald of Crow Wood.
