Jesper Parnevik has hip surgery - for second time
Jesper Parnevik has undergone successful arthroscopic hip surgery and will miss the remainder of the 2009 US PGA Tour season as he works through the necessary rehabilitation and training schedule.
The surgery was performed by Dr. Marc Philippon, one of the world's leading orthopaedic hip surgeons who has performed similar procedures on Greg Norman and Peter Jacobsen, at the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colorado.
Parnevik underwent a similar surgery in 2000 which was also performed by Dr. Philippon.
